The Bocce Ballas are made up of the crème de la crème or elite if you will of the Des Moines bocce scene. Meaning we know how to socialize with the best of them as well as dominate in the majestic sport of Bocce Ball. There have been other bocce teams to come about in their wake though they should all be categorized as "the other team" or "wannabes". All great leagues need 2nd rate teams too so we thank them for filling that role. We show up to do two things...drink adult beverages and roll bocce, and we are always running out of adult beverages.
